Perhaps you would like to taste jams, relishes and chutneys made from locally grown fruits or spoil yourself with Cheshire handmade fudge and chocolates. Maybe you can be tempted with some of the specialty cheeses made by local producers. Or better still, if you can’t make your mind up what to try – why not order a special Courtyard hamper that we can have delivered to your cottage offering you a selection of the best of the Cheshire so you don’t have to agonise over what to choose!

Close by we have Eddisbury Fruit Farm producing Cheshire Apple Juice and Cheshire Cider from locally grown apples. How about going on a brewery tour at the award winning, Stationhouse Brewery, a micro brewery based in Frodsham and sampling some of their fine beers?

If you are after a really tasty piece of beef you need to try Red Poll beef produced locally by The Grange Farm at Mickle Trafford. This family farm produce beautiful, mature Red Poll beef which is slaughtered locally and available to purchase for the very best of Cheshire beef.

Alternatively, you might want to ensure your cottage is already stocked up with food before you leave home by ordering online and having it delivered to your cottage for when you arrive. If you don’t feel like cooking then order ahead from a choice of three course meals that we can have delivered for you to heat up and serve. For a real treat, let us organise for a local chef to come to you and prepare a meal on the premises and, if you wish, learn how to cook the meal for yourself.
